I have really enjoyed reading your site and seeing all the ways you have marketed Jack and Boos Bucket of Treasures. Really inspiring work and from the sample, the book looks great.
The beach is a great place to open a child’s imagination. I’m not sure exactly what it is that has this effect on them. Maybe it’s the uniqueness of the environment. But this books seems to reflect that invitation for imagination, for example, the reference to a jewel from a mermaid’s purse. Freedom to use imagination is one of the most important things we can give our children.
Thanks for your lovely comments. Yes, our books are based on family trips out with our own children to the beach. They learn through play and have great fun.
Such a lovely book idea and (weather permitting) a great little book for the car journey before we hit the beach. Sublime stuff!
