Author Submissions

WE DO NOT ACCEPT UNSOLICITED SUBMISSIONS BY POST. ANYTHING SENT THIS WAY WILL NOT BE RETURNED OR RESPONDED TO. PLEASE EMAIL ALL SUBMISSIONS.
We usually initially respond within a week of your first contact, but then do please allow at least 3 months wait for us to consider your work and reply on your submissions.
Please do send a short synopsis, some information about yourself, your aspirations for publication, and please ensure your work is well edited before sending. Thanks!
At this time we are only accepting submissions from UK-based authors and only for adult non-fiction, adult fiction and in children’s books.
In children’s books we are currently looking for good author/illustrator combinations and children’s chapter book authors. Please no picture book texts at this time unless you have illustrated the text as well.
In non-fiction we are looking for well-written narrative non-fiction and non-fiction on a range of subjects.
In adult fiction we are looking for well-written fiction such as contemporary novels, interesting crime, science fiction, historical and literary novels.
As a courtesy, while waiting for us to respond, if you receive an offer from a publisher or you decide to self publish, please let us know so we don’t spend wasted time going through your submission. We also don’t mind you chasing us if you have to wait over 3 months for response – sometimes we are extremely busy! Thanks for thinking of us.
